Works fine but Weller could do better
After some tweaking this part works fine. However, the purchase was only made because Weller had redesigned the relevant heating element, rendering the old – and perfectly serviceable – cylindrical nut unusable. This amounts to a $17 heist that should never have happened. If they replaced the heating element, they had to include the new barrel nut in the repair kit, or at least warn customers not to replace it.
