Worked for my application
I use these to mount my 2ft long off-road LED light on the rear roof of my van to support my boat trailer at night. They have great holding power and stay in place. My only advice would be not to tighten the screw so far that it pierces the bottom of the cup as I think it will lose suction. They fit my application as I needed a threaded suction cup and the size was perfect.
