Out of the box, these suction cups will not hold suction for more than a few seconds on a clean, smooth surface. The price would be good if they worked.

Looks like a good mug but I noticed they don't have a metal threaded insert even though they come with a couple of screws. I wouldn't trust them too much to keep anything safe. Just a hole in the rubber.

I bought these to use on my homemade roof rack - made from an old bed frame - they worked great - I had to tie the rack to the roof with rope didn't I? The suction cups do not stick by themselves. With screed and weight - they had good suction power - however, relying on that alone is not enough.

The design made it easy to mount the mount on the suction cups. However, cups in which interchangeable cups for a parcel shelf in the interior are attached to the window pane. I used alcohol to clean the glass properly and tried gluing the cups. The maximum length of stay on site is 15 minutes. 😣

I use these to mount my 2ft long off-road LED light on the rear roof of my van to support my boat trailer at night. They have great holding power and stay in place. My only advice would be not to tighten the screw so far that it pierces the bottom of the cup as I think it will lose suction. They fit my application as I needed a threaded suction cup and the size was perfect.
