Review on 🔧 Fel-Pro TOS 18757 Auto Trans Oil Pan Gasket by Ronnie Dunn

Will be changing the transmission oil on my 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan soon. I bought this gasket to avoid using sealant as the pan is factory sealed. It appears to be a fiber seal and not the rubber seal that comes with some aftermarket filters. I believe this fiber gasket is your best bet if you decide to use a gasket (rather than just a sealant). After reading many reviews of aftermarket filters that come with a gasket (some without). It seems that the gaskets that come with these filters do not seal properly in many cases. This is because rubber seals tend to compress if overtightened or tightened to the 9 ft.lbs specification. I'll update this review for better or worse once I've actually completed my fluid/filter change (I ordered a Mopar filter and it hasn't arrived yet.
