According to others, it doesn't work quite as advertised. I was able to make a copper to aluminum bond, but no matter how clean it was and no matter how many different approaches I tried, the bond was always porous. I just couldn't do a full post. Solder will not flow unless liquid flux is applied to it. Flux penetrates the joint and bubbles up, causing holes. The connection is also very flat as a result. I disassembled the connections and the depth of the connection was not 1/8 inch in the pipe. It adheres, but is neither structural nor gas-tight. I tried my oxy and then softened it with a mapp. Neither approach method gave the advertised results.
