Maybe they aren't really magnets...

The magnets are not strong enough to support the weight of the timer. We now need to buy secondary magnets, which are more expensive than timers. updated. I also noticed that when the timers go up and reach 99 minutes, they reset to zero but don't alert you that they've reached 99.
