Works well but requires some effort to install

This mirror is the same shape as the original glass. The general instructions say to use urethane tape (4 square inches total included) and simply tape it over the broken mirror. Not a very good long term solution. Completely removing the old glass with screwdrivers and a sharp putty knife makes for a better install. Original manufacturer glass is only attached to the substrate for 4-6 square meters. inch tape so the included tape just about suffices. I added 6 large pea sized scoops of blackjack, a roofing caulk that's widely used in a caulk tube and sticks to anything. Urethane glue for a professional glass installer would be better, but it's $20 for a tube versus $2 for a blackjack. I placed the accompanying story on the raised pads on the glass holder and applied Blackjack to the edges of the pad. Press the jar in place, making sure it sticks to the tape, and use the foam sleeve that came with the jar to press down to distribute the pressure. This way the mirror sits in a support frame rather than standing proudly as if it were just glued to the remaining broken glass. Eye protection is a must when working with glass, especially when removing an old broken mirror.
