Good replacement if trying to save money

Good replacement if trying to save money. It turned out to be a bit big and I was afraid it might fall off. I added some more double sided tape and am glad it stayed in place through the rain and wind.

So far so good: replacing the wing mirror glass

Finding an original part is not easy, so this is a good solution. Although I haven't installed it yet, the finish, size and quality are fine. I know it requires a workflow to scrape off defective parts, I'm fine with that. Later I will post my comments after installation. Good price.

Suitable for temporary repairs

A bit small for my 1998 Honda Civic. Didn't think the included padding tapes were strong enough so I used superglue as well. Objects in the reflection looked magnified compared to the existing mirror. Relatively easy to install and works as a temporary fix for now.

Decent, inexpensive solution

This mirror is not quite the factory size. It's pretty close, but undersized at about 0.125 inches in one dimension. But it's on my broken machine so I don't care. Also, the edge of the mirror is slightly curved, so the reflections I see from the edges of the mirror are useless. If you're following instructions that recommend simply placing this mirror on top of an existing mirror, be aware of how ridiculous it will look. I have, but then again, it's a wrecked car and I don't care.

Fits exactly? I don't think so

So I ordered this mirror glass to replace my '96 Honda Civic EX. I checked the product description and it said it would fit my car. Fits exactly to this car. I finally got it installed, but it's not brand new. It's actually smaller than it should be, about 3/16 inch around the mirror. It's only held in place by the tape and doesn't sit in the groove where it should. How should it fit? my car but it passes quality control and doesn't fit. but your description says it specifically fits my car…

Works well but requires some effort to install

This mirror is the same shape as the original glass. The general instructions say to use urethane tape (4 square inches total included) and simply tape it over the broken mirror. Not a very good long term solution. Completely removing the old glass with screwdrivers and a sharp putty knife makes for a better install. Original manufacturer glass is only attached to the substrate for 4-6 square meters. inch tape so the included tape just about suffices. I added 6 large pea sized scoops of…
