Review on 🦉 Gourmet Art Enamel-on-Steel Whistling Kettle with Owl Design by Laura Decker

The whistle kettle is absolutely adorable and very well made. I really like it but there are two things that make me sad: 1: The whistle sounded like a car horn and was funny BUT it stopped working after just a few weeks. There is a screw that holds the metal part of the whistle in the plastic. Tried to pull up, the whistle still barely works.2. The lid is very tight so it cannot be removed, but steam comes out from all sides. I have a feeling that if the lid fits in a way that steam doesn't escape, there would be enough pressure to get the kettle whistling. But I'm not sure if that's the problem. The teapot itself is beautiful and very cute. I'm just very sad that the whistle doesn't work because that's why I chose it. It's too late to send him back now. It just frustrates me that my expectations are so often met when I buy something, even after doing so much research before buying. Eh!
