🦉 Gourmet Art Enamel-on-Steel Whistling Kettle with Owl Design Review

I bought this teapot for my wife, she likes it a lot. It's very well made and the design is well sealed (doesn't rub off, but we're careful with it) BUT when the water's ready it blows through an accordion-like whistle and sounds like a car just honking from the outside . We like it now but really weird when we first used it. Keep in mind.

I bought this for my mom for Christmas she needed a new one to replace her cow kettle which she had for twenty years and is giving now there is no suitable boiling water. My mum liked the design and color, you have to loosen the screw under the spout to make it whistle properly, but a Phillips screwdriver will do the trick. Very good, if I need another kettle, I will only take this manufacturer.

I've been looking for a Navy or Navy 2 liter kettle and didn't find anything I liked or it was out of stock. I saw it and thought it was different and absolutely amazing. The whistle is different too - it sounds like an owl's hoot! At first I didn't know where it came from! It also comes in yellow and brown, but I wanted blue and am very, very happy with it. I also think the price is okay. I highly recommend this product

The whistle kettle is absolutely adorable and very well made. I really like it but there are two things that make me sad: 1: The whistle sounded like a car horn and was funny BUT it stopped working after just a few weeks. There is a screw that holds the metal part of the whistle in the plastic. Tried to pull up, the whistle still barely works.2. The lid is very tight so it cannot be removed, but steam comes out from all sides. I have a feeling that if the lid fits in a way that steam doesn't…
