Makes a "wild " whistle, similar to a car horn outside.
I bought this teapot for my wife, she likes it a lot. It's very well made and the design is well sealed (doesn't rub off, but we're careful with it) BUT when the water's ready it blows through an accordion-like whistle and sounds like a car just honking from the outside . We like it now but really weird when we first used it. Keep in mind.
