Review on 🚚 Dorman 904-808 Ford Truck Mechanical Vacuum Pump - Enhanced SEO, Black by Paul Tilden

The vacuum pump was delivered promptly. I ordered this part for my '90 Ford F-250. However, I found that the vacuum port fitting has become disconnected from the pump and there is no way to push it in without it falling out again. It's a press fit and clamps around the rim to hold it in place. Poor quality control by the manufacturer. They completely missed the opportunity to secure the fitting in place. I would have sent this item back to the seller but due to lack of other means of transportation I was in a hurry to get my truck's brakes repaired. I resorted to other methods of attaching the fitting to use my truck. Dorman is on my list of manufacturers to avoid in the future. This review is not directed at the seller. It is addressed to Dorman, the manufacturer of the pump.
