What happened to the Revain rating system? I encourage you to look for products rated less than 4 stars. How can we trust these reviews more? I used to rely heavily on them when making purchasing decisions. I used to be able to leave comments on other reviews. This mailbox serves as a replacement for a drive-thru in front of my rented house. The tin box is thin but sufficient. The latch didn't hold the lid closed as mentioned in some other reviews, but it's easy to fix with a slight bend with pliers. Installation will be easy in soft ground, unfortunately I have hard rocky ground. I was able to drive the bottom piece into the ground with a sledgehammer, using a piece of wood to protect the exposed ends, but I still deformed them slightly and had to pinch them with pliers to get the top piece. keep pushing. The instructions say to dig the ground first, but I wanted to avoid that; I could dig a new 4x4 in the ground if I would dig. The mailbox proved not entirely stable and will need a base reinforcement at some point, but overall it's decent for the price.
