The device works as advertised. The setup worked fine, but I had to use both USB sockets to get enough power to work. When I first installed it with only one port, it seemed to install fine, but no data was transferring. Plugging in a second USB cable helped. The device is very small and compact, which is nice. However, the case is thin enough that when you press hard, you can hear a grinding noise, indicating it's rubbing against the inside of the motor. There are no side effects from it, but it is better not to put anything on it. Overall, this is a good compact device that is worth the money.
