I bought this for my cabinet door project on wheels on my newly purchased Bosch router and table. poplar material. The grooved part is ideal for cutting along the grain. But the tongue doesn't seem to be sharp enough and I have to push the workpiece very hard against the fence to keep it from knocking off as poplar is a relatively soft material? I should also add that a thin washer is included to bring the tongue width down to 1/4. This is my first time using this type of bits with no prior experience with other similar brands. The repulsive force can be natural in that the drill bit cuts through the wood twice as hard as the groove and also cuts through the fibers of the wood. Eventually it worked satisfactorily for my paint quality DIY cabinet doors with a few minor imperfections.
