Shields receded less than 1/4 inch, in some cases not moving at all. The drill bit was not big enough for the spring (or the spring was too big for the body) which prevented the screen from moving and exposing the drill bit, so the drill bit will never drill a hole deep enough to use as starting hole to be used.
