This embroidery starter kit includes all the tools you need to get your job done. If you are a beginner or buying this for a beginner or if you are looking for a complete travel set, this set is for you. Personally I prefer the bamboo hoops over the plastic hoops that come with this kit. Also, I have my own embroidery scissors which I prefer, but the materials included in this set work well. Plenty of embroidery floss is provided, more than is needed for this project. The instructions are detailed and include step-by-step instructions (complete with real photos) for each technique needed to complete this embroidery. The most difficult technique required for this embroidery kit is the French knot and I would recommend watching a tutorial video for this stitch. Otherwise, all other stitches are simple and clear. An embroidery project of this size usually takes me several days and the result is amazing. I especially like the pale pink fabric background in this set. The variety of stitches and colors makes such a beautiful picture and practicing this kit will teach you embroidery technique and stitches and strengthen your embroidery skills. I definitely recommend this set.
