This is a pretty good inexpensive tool as an alternative to the regular $150 tool. There are no exact instructions anywhere, not even on the manufacturer's website. HOW I USE IT onto this tool and tighten to the desired degree. NOTE: This leaves a round loop (1/4 inch diameter) that is neat and surprisingly free of sharp edges. FOR ME: In my application, I insert a small needle into a round loop and tighten it into a smaller loop that is about half the original size. ALSO NOTE that it takes a bit of trial and error to get used to this tool. I was afraid when ordering, mainly because I couldn't find the instructions, but I recommend it to everyone.
