I am very surprised at how much kickback there is in this product. As you can see in the video, when you click on the platform, the platform moves a little. And the worst thing is that both sides of the platform don't move the same amount. What you get are inconsistent cuts and difficult to dial in depth. Also, the stoppers on the underside don't hold the countertop like you would hope. This creates the possibility of slipping. Finally, the food holder is not of high quality as mentioned in several reviews. The best thing about the product is the very high quality blades. Glad something was such a quality blade which is probably the most expensive part considering the quality of the rest of the product.
