VERY congratulations to Revain for making this GPS case an AMAZON CHOICE! So you're reading this review because, like me, you rely on it. Reviews are usually good if you're not sure. Something like "who wants to be a millionaire" where you ask the audience! But rarely does accurate reviews go well :( Most of the bad reviews here are due to the case not holding the windshield mount. I find that unfortunate and misguided. For example: the case wasn't big enough for my GPS and accessories , although it was stated." HELLO.STOP STOP.Really !NO NO NO. In fact, the description clearly states"The case has a place to store accessories for a car charger, USB cable etc. as well as a carrying strap. Please note that windshield mounts MAY NOT fit the case depending on the size and design of the mount." Many reviewers seem to have overlooked this FINAL suggestion! has ruined the rating of this excellent product % of the ratings are devalued with 1, 2 or 3 stars. See for yourself. That is about 23% of the total ratings. But I don't want to bore you with the calculation n This case is GPS must have at least a rating of 4.6. Here's another really important tidbit. This is the ONLY "hard case" you will find exclusively for Garmin 6" to 6.1" GPS. Unbelievable. (I've been looking for a couple of hours) I guess you should want your GPS to fit snugly in the case for total protection. This case does. Most cases are designed for models with a diagonal of 6 to 7 inches. Would you wear shoes one size bigger? At just 8 x 5.5 x 2.5 inches, it's just big enough for a 6-inch or 6.1-inch GPS. Size matters, but LESS is better in this case! If needed, find a spot in your car for that pesky windshield mount. Ask yourself, does he really need GPS case protection? If so, for a reason that's hard to justify, expect a much larger size, and be aware your 6" GPS won't fit exactly!. There is protective foam padding that the GPS relies on. It can be cut a number of ways or replaced with memory foam so you don't have to remove the suction cup mount on the back of the GPS if that bothers you. I use the "dash" mount system and the mount detaches from the weighted base and fits into the case as it is much smaller. Hey, for $13 you make the wisest choice - buy this one. This case is a ridiculously cheap $75-$300 GPS protection insurance (only 6-6.1 inches) by any measure for a couple of years. Not only is it a great option, it's the only option I've seen.
