Review on TicketCity by Joshua Akashi

TicketCity is in my opinion one of the worst ticket companies out there. I have bought tickets in the past through TicketCity and found several mistakes in my order, they also made it very hard for me to get an exchange on my tickets when they didn't work for my family.

First off, this company does not BUY their tickets from reliable sources. They buy them from places like Stub Hub or EBay which are known to resell fake tickets all the time.

I recently tried to buy cheap Raptors tickets (Toronto Canada) through Ticket City and gave them a call since I needed some clarification on the seating chart; turns out that most of the seats were actually sold by an outside broker who was NOT associated with Ticket City. So don't be fooled when you see those "official ticketing partner" logos on their website, it means nothing!



I then contacted TicketCity about the issue and they told me that I couldn't get a refund or exchange because the tickets were bought through a 3rd party. REALLY? This is such a scam and I would not recommend this company to anyone. Find another ticket broker who is more reliable and has better customer service.
