Review on 🔐 Enhanced-Performance EPL-106-W Patio Door Lock with Keyed Large Rectangle in White Finish by Franklin Richardson

I wasn't sure if this lock would meet our requirements as I couldn't find anything specific about if it works on a patio door that was opened from the outside of a solid pane of glass but now I can confirm it works great!We use it to make the door lock even when we have a dog door installed the lock.This wasn't in stated in the instructions and I didn't think about it until it was installed and I tried to open the door (our previous lock didn't take up space) I was able to pull the bolt all the way out but why be lazy now and pay the price forever? We had an existing stud (aka a very small stud) that attached to the same top location, so we also had a bit of trouble drilling 1/2". Bolt hole, but apart from these two incidents, everything was very simple. Two 1/8" lock holes, one 1/2" bolt hole and voila! This is a large and sturdy lock (it actually needed a 1/2" drill for the bolt hole). A couple of notes. : Deadbolt must be fully inserted for key to work. Will not open if someone shakes the door We probably won't lock them unless we're on holiday as it would be easier for someone to break the glass than go through the pro-lok I hope it will help someone else decide on this article I would recommend it to everyone.
