This product has only been installed a few days but still no squeaking noise like my old one. Seems to be working fine. The quality was a bit disappointing (lots of cracks on the metal part itself; looks like manufacturing issues, especially in the radius areas). . the picture was of a nice rubber stopper at the time, but what i actually got was a piece with a cheap plastic stopper, with a gap between the metal lever and the stopper (dust or other contaminants could get in). time and damage the hydraulic piston). I recommend, but know what you're really buying. For these reasons I would give 3 1/2 stars.
