I ordered these pliers to make it easier to repair the lamp, which has a recessed nut in the base that I can't access with many other tool options, that I have. It got the job done by saving me the hassle of buying a replacement bulb for over $200 so it paid for itself in no time. Not sure if I got a second one or if the design allows for a slight difference in jaw tip width. In any case, you can see directly from the tip that the two cheeks are not quite symmetrical. This didn't seem to be a problem as there was very little flex if I applied enough torque when unscrewing the nut on my lamp. However, I had expected a slightly higher quality control at a purchase price of almost 30€. However, please note that it worked fine for me.
