I bought these pliers to add to the other 9 Knipex pliers on my roll. The only reason for returning was that they were too tall to fit in a pliers box due to the height of the curved jaw tips. In my opinion, Knipex makes the best pliers.

So far I've only bought the long versions of Knipex needle tips without the Hard Loop. All my regular length needle noses don't fully open without "help". However, the processing quality is typical of KNIPEX. The jaws are perfectly aligned. They work well, I just prefer hinges that open without splaying.

I've had several Knipex tools, this is by far one of the worst. Looks and feels like a Knipex but doesn't run as smooth as my other pliers. I applied some lube and it's still not as smooth as my other Knipex. I'll bring it back and find something else

We're sorry if someone else didn't receive the quality they wanted. mine are perfect The tips meet just in front of the body of the jaws. Excellent serrations on the tips and they hold up very well. I'm not saying you can pick up an anvil, but they're perfect for their purpose. I am very happy with my purchase. This is my third pair of Knipex and I will be adding more. Pretty much the best I've come across.
