I don't usually write reviews but one way to make a buying decision is to read all the reviews so I decided to write reviews to hopefully helping others with their decision. Over the past year I have reviewed several tableware products and read hundreds of reviews. I replaced a kit I had for 40 years. It was an expensive top set but recently 2 pots had their coating peeled off starting my year long search for a new set. I chose this set after reading all the reviews. I liked that others said they were a good weight but not too heavy. They were correct in their assessment. Your weight is perfect. Not thin at all. Good weight but don't feel like I need to start lifting weights to get by. Used it for the first time today. Made some scrambled eggs that I could wipe off with a paper towel and finished when I wanted to. But I'm a fan of cleanliness so I used soap and water anyway. It would probably be possible to put them in the dishwasher, but I don't usually do that with pots and pans as they usually take a little longer to wash. I am very happy with my purchase.
