This comment is for someone "checking" the return! Regardless of whether it was a manufacturer or a buyer before me, the fan itself was pushed too far/too far onto the motor mount and was DAMAGED/CABRATED as a result. Luckily for me, my brother is on site and we removed the fan from the old block (the motor was broken) and put it on the motor of the new block. It was NOT as easy as it might seem. He also machined two bolts that protruded too much under the fan, causing the fan to break in two places when the fan was pushed down too hard. The original device was about 1/4 inch while the new device was about 1/2 inch. I can't be more specific as it's already installed. So the replacement part worked AFTER we took the old fan and combined it with the new motor. Also, the OLD fan had a flat otherwise round hole that matched a flat on the mounting post protruding from the motor, while the new fan did not. Let's hope the engine lasts as long as the old one. must work better!
