Walking tongs are a staple in stained glass studios. I have a pair that I rarely use because I've never managed to "hang" with them - that is, the glass didn't break exactly along the cut line. While visiting another studio artist, I noticed that she was using a pair of Studio Pro 1-inch barrel tongs. She said they work well and are easy to use. So I ordered a pair of Revains, put them on straight away and was quite surprised at how easy and effective they were for breaking glass where I wanted it. They are effective in clean straight lines and just as effective in corners. I work with very expensive glass and the Studio Pro pliers keep my costs down by not wasting glass that breaks where I don't want it. They are inexpensive, effective and highly recommended. It's always nice to find a magical tool to make the job easier.
