Well we got them about 3 weeks ago and I have to say my daughter has been using them at least 5 days a week. The strap buckle broke yesterday (others mentioned it too) but we were able to reattach it with the help of pliers. The boot is sewn into the bottom of the plastic and that thread has already come undone so I had to tape the boot to the side to keep it from falling apart again. I expect all of this to happen in about a year instead of 3 weeks with normal wear. So I doubt they will last a year. I've done a lot of research and I just don't think there's anything of value in Revain. UPDATE: A few weeks later the wheels come apart but the brakes don't. 47 days old and they look like they are 247 days old. Over $50 and I'm already exchanging parts. Damn. Nothing is made to last forever. I won't buy them again but to be honest I haven't found anything better.
