Review on 🔧 Topeak Ratchet Rocket Multifunctional Tool by Larry Lackings

I started riding again about 10 years ago and now spend a lot of time with my kids mountain biking and road cycling. I've used several different 'bike multi-tools' over the years. All had flaws. The best of them (Specialized's tool) was too compact and therefore didn't give the desired leverage. Recently the main tool I carry with me broke so I was looking for a replacement. Enter the Topeak Ratchet Rocket: I ordered this and used it on several trips. That's great. By far the best tool I've used. It has the levers you need for confident adjustments/repairs, more versatility than I could have imagined and a compact size to take with you. I'm not sure how durable the case is, but I don't really plan on using it. I just stick the tool in my saddlebag along with the tube, patch kit, tire levers and patch kit. Absolutely fantastic! UPDATE (July 22, 2015): It's been 4 years since I bought this tool. It was fantastic. The ratchet proved absolutely reliable. After that I bought several rocket rattles (various versions) to give away. Almost all my cycling friends use it now. It really was "money well spent"!
