🔧 Topeak Ratchet Rocket Multifunctional Tool Review

This is not your typical all-purpose bike tool, but a mini box of various attachments for use with the included ratchet. Yes the ratchet is only about 3 inches long but compared to bulky multi tools the ratchet is AWESOME! big, but not very heavy either. So unless you are a lover of size and weight, this is the tool to have with you on every trip.

I had my eye on multi tools for a while before finally settling on this one. I liked the idea that it's more of a tool than the ones that branch out. I haven't used a circuit breaker and hopefully won't. The ratchet also has a hole in the end, which is very handy when you can't put the head back in. I bought the Ratchet Rocket RX a while ago and I really like this product. I simply prefer the racquet/ratchet tool over the standard folding bike tools. Folding tools feel heavy and clunky. I don't use the new style Rocket Ratchet tote bag as it stays in my camel bug bag or seat pocket. This is probably the best bike tool I have seen or seen and has other uses. I could almost take apart my entire bike with it. All I need is an extra brake wrench and pedal wrench, curling irons would be useful and I could probably do a complete disassembly. I have to commend this really smart tool, great design, very well done. First, this thing is simple. 125 grams for a multi-tool including chain cutter is really good. But that's not fair because chain tools are not all created equal. Most of them are flimsy things that lack the leverage to work (I'm looking at you Lezin).
