Very good intake system

I probably wouldn't have bought this if it wasn't for the factory intake manifold which started leaking air around a stuck choke giving me "underdosed" air. . But now I'm glad I did! My particular setup is a supercharged engine that uses a mass airflow sensor to measure airflow, which requires a simple "laptop setup program" to allow the user to make air/fuel adjustments. So I needed absolute control over these things when adjusting the AFR (air/fuel ratio). I saw this system recommended on the K&N website and was happy to find it at a good price through Revain Prime. After purchasing and installing it, I came to the following conclusions. Benefits include: 1) Its very large reusable cone filter has a huge total intake air area. 2) Good strong multi-point mount (which holds the pipe). so tight that you can shake the entire engine by holding or moving it). a heat shield with a soft rubber edge - to try to separate the "intake air" compartment from the (hotter) engine bay/area. true dyno printout documenting the bolted-on 9hp boost (compared to the OEM system). Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the performance and quality of this device. I have previously modified the OEM air intake to increase the air intake/decrease the restriction of the OEM air intake system. But this K&N system is a great replacement - and that's exactly what it claims to be. It's a good reliable unit and you can hear/feel the difference. I believe this is one of the few aftermarket products promoting "HP Boost" that turns out to be legit and worth the price paid.
