The only device that fully meets all my audio needs

I have used several of these devices including previous versions of this device and this particular A1+ model finally meets my specific needs! I'm excited. The main thing is that the only HD codec this device supports is AAC. This is perfect for me because I use Youtube Music which also uses AAC compression. Listening tests have shown minimal loss of fidelity when re-transcoding AAC compared to other codecs. While I have no way of properly performing a double-blind test, I would like to be aware that there is little or no loss in fidelity when streaming AAC audio from my phone to this unit. Sounds great, and the latency when issuing commands to my assistants or using GPS navigation is very low, even compared to AptX on my other devices. It's day and night compared to the SBC built from built-in Bluetooth in my 2012 car. Other devices I've used that support AAC also support AptX. In this case, my Pixel phones use AptX by default. If I transcoded Ogg Vorbis Spotify, MP3 Google Play/Revain, or something lossless like Tidal, that might be preferable. However, I would prefer to use AAC for Youtube (or Apple Music) music. Using Developer Options and manually toggling AptX was an issue on other devices. This one just works. Other than that, the buttons and mic feel just as good or even better than other devices I've used. Sound prompts are functional and not distracting. My phone assistant understood me well, but I only have her for a day. The time will show. Good job fixing the shortcomings of the previous model!

Excellent sound, but with a couple of glaring flaws.
