This small solder package is ideal. As long as you use it for its intended purpose. This product is really ideal for smaller jobs, typically electronic. It is a resin core solder (not an acid core solder) so using it for electrical or electronic projects is not a big problem. I mainly use it to connect electrical wires. or wires to contacts. One of the nice features of this product is the small diameter. It can be used for small jobs or soldering in tight spaces. There's also quite a bit of solder in this pack, enough for multiple projects. I love Kester products. Your lot has never failed me. It flows well and holds up well. No questions. I'd rather pay a little more for something like this than pay a little less and struggle with the product. The only complaints I've heard about this lot are related to the price. For real.? $5.95 for a lamp that will last and complete multiple projects (well, unless you're soldering entire circuit boards or building a computer from scratch). To be honest, I don't see a problem with that. Sometimes I'll pay more for a cup of coffee (and so will you if you ever stop by Starbucks or any other beer garden). Five stars. Excellent goods. Easy to use. No questions.
