Review on Maximize Your Internet Speeds with Actiontec Verizon High Speed Internet DSL Wireless N Modem and Router (GT784WNV) by Ron Josey

We had a Verizon Actiontec modem and a Linksys router that was about 8 years old. It worked well, but with the advent of smart TVs, powerful wireless laptops, and the iPad, the slowness became annoying. The problem was what to do and buy. All signs pointed to a Verizon enabled Actionetc router/modem combo. Set up was a bit of a challenge, but not a huge problem. Within an hour, all devices were connected and ready to go. The speed is more than double that of previous devices, and the gain is very strong compared to previous devices. No more annoying skips or stream reloads, and the speed and accuracy of music and video is top-notch. We're connected to two Dell laptops, two iPads, two smart TVs, two iPhomes, and a smart Blu-ray player. All is well. This is not compatible with Fios so be careful. The general reviews, both on the Revain website and on various online review sites, were accurate and helpful. The indicators show everything is OK, but nothing can connect and the signal appears and disappears. Connected via Ethernet and everything is OK. However, there is still no wireless connection. My company is an IT platform, so access to it is crucial. Luckily I have my old setup and it works. I'll try to reconfigure myself, but that's not the way to spend a Saturday morning.
