Sophisticated scanners for office electronics

I had an old scanner and got this new one and I can't download it to my computer. tried everything, this one is a lot harder to use than my first one i had for about 10 years, it was great, this one i've had for probably about 78 months and i still can't load it on my computer, so i'm sitting on my desk and do nothing and I don't want to put everything in the cloud
