This tool will help remove triple clamps in some situations but is extremely inefficient and will most likely damage your fork. The angled blades designed to fit under the crown barrel are very blunt and proved too thick to fit under the barrel on some of my forks. A separate tool was required to start the removal and then this tool was used to proceed. Because this tool is just a wedge/clamp, additional tools (read: a hammer) are required to apply the removal force. On impact, the tool flexes and digs into the fork crown - don't even dream of using this tool with carbon forks. With a little extra effort and great care, I was able to successfully remove some crown prongs with this tool, albeit at a cosmetic cost to my fork. Buy with caution.
