Typical Leviton quality

Connector well designed and UL approved. Easily accepts 14-18 AWG wire - wire gauge is the limiting factor. The cable hole is 3/8" in diameter, but there is a 1/4" square hole inside. Also, you'll need to route the wires around the stand for the screw that holds the two halves together. All screws are color coded and appropriately sized. The overall dimensions are slightly larger than the standard extension plug.
