Review on Pfister 951-026S Marielle/ Treviso 26 Series Side Spray Sub Assembly: Stainless Steel Hose Included by Noah Jess

Be careful - not all sprayers work with all kitchen faucets. It doesn't come with its own base (as shown in the picture)

I bought this assuming these connectors were standard. I just paid for a $30 lesson which is not the case. This isn't a blow to the atomizer per se, but there should have been more information on the connection types it supports. I assumed it was a simple DIY job. Googled it quickly. I haven't seen any warnings that you should find an atomizer that has connections that support a faucet. After my trip to the hardware store, the guy from the plumbing department informed me that there was no way I could connect this atomizer to my existing kitchen faucet! No adapters, nothing. :-(Also, the syringe did NOT come with its own base (as shown in this picture). It's just a one piece hose syringe. And of course it didn't fit the base of the old syringe I was replacing. So when I attached it to the hooking up the faucet i would leave the sprayer hanging from the old base which matches the color and style of kitchen faucet i have it was fine with me when i got the sprayer i wasn't very impressed, from which it seems to be made of solid plastic. Of course I'm comparing it to what I can replace which is more die cast metal. I know it's just an atomizer but for $30+ I was expecting something better not just because of that styles and the colors. I would certainly still use it if it worked. Again just a sprayer. So after all this I can't cross it off my honey to-do list. Worse, I got it from my wife i.e en impression of replacing the entire kitchen faucet, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid!
