Screw looks great and is exactly as pictured. I didn't like two things: The groove is quite shallow so the drill bit /screwdriver keeps slipping off the head of the screw, the screw is fully seated in the tree.originally drilled the holes but I still couldn't get the screws all the way in, I loosened the screws and used a slightly larger drill bit to drill the first part of the hole to widen it so the unthreaded part would fit better.If I'm attacking a piece of pine against a piece of maple, maybe if it were just pine I could drive the screws in without drilling a second time.
