Review on 🔧 Efficient Steering Neck Bearing Race Remover: OTC 4796 for Fast Removal by Jonathan Unruh

This product is very well made and makes removing the plain bearings a lot easier. The puller tab that engages the edge of the bearing ring is probably 1/16 inch thick. In my application, there is a very narrow slot for this comb to slide through; so narrow and at such an angle that a hole punch or something similar wouldn't work. I used a small grinder to narrow the comb down to about 1/32" thick. Even after removing so much metal, the tool remained very strong and moved the races with just a few hammer hits. If my buddies find out I have it, they will want to borrow it.
