I was pretty sure I didn't need a $70 headphone stand and I probably still am, but MAN does this thing well. What do you get for $70? A stand that's built like a tank and will last you a lifetime. With that in mind, the cost isn't that bad. There are tripods that cost the same or even more but do not meet this high quality standard. One last thing I would like to point out is that if you are looking for a stand for an expensive pair of headphones it would be nice not to come cheap. The last thing you want is for the stand not to hold up very well and for your headphones to fall off, get frayed or damaged.
