Review on Bilstein 33 253190 33253190 Shock Absorber by Andrew Enriquez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Should be in stock best in Shocks

I replaced them on my 2016 F150, I only had 16,000 miles so the stock shocks weren't too bad for everyday use. I bought the truck brand new and when I first pulled our trailer I was amazed at how much better it pulls than our 2010 F150. After several tows, the situation quickly deteriorated and many dolphins appeared. It took me more time to remove the fender liner than it did to replace the shocks. Normal daily driving might not notice the change, even though towing is day and night. No more up and down and jumping. These dampers smooth everything out. The 5100 is the same as the 4600 except it's adjustable if you have an elevator or similar. I didn't choose them because they were coated, not painted, and were only a few dollars more at the time.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
