As others have said, there is VERY inadequate connection cable. Maybe 3 feet. How do you want to mount it? Driving with extension cords to get to the built-in door opener or trying to find an outlet in the garage, what's intimidating? So check how you would mount b4 when buying. I have better luck I replaced a previous unit I probably had 12-14 years old that had at least 12-14 feet of cord. Plus the installation was identical to this unit. I think I have to say this is a great device as long as you can install it. If you have Job's patients and you think of something, buy it. Just sad to say that China has run out of cable material to get 5*.
