Review on MikroTik Dual-Concurrent Access Point: hAP ac Lite RB952Ui-5ac2nD-US by Devaraja Devaraja ᠌

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

Even though I am not an extremely experienced user when it comes to configuring networks, I deeply regret that I have not given more consideration to the MikroTik brand and the various router models they provide in the past. This is an absolute blast! On an entirely new and distinct level, the positive side. You will have so many options to deal with the network, and RouterOS will captivate you to the point where you won't be able to let go of its grasp. It's possible that it will sound absurd, but I purchased this model so that it would be compatible with the Huawei E3276 modem (Megaphone M150-1). There is no community network in the area where I live. On the other hand, this does not test the limits of the RB952Ui-5ac2nD's capabilities. Previously, I had been utilizing ZyXEL Keenetic 4G II. But then there came a time when it became quite evident that the Keenetic 4G II was beginning to "fail." No, he didn't break. It was not sufficient to get steady work. It was purely by chance that I came across the MikroTik brand. Purchased a "black horse" for my own collection. I wasn't sure whether my modem would function; could you tell me about the many kinds of routers? After reading the tests and reviews on the RB952Ui-5ac2nD, I decided to "take a chance," and I am happy to report that my decision was correct! You shouldn't let the complicated nature of the setup frighten you. There are an overwhelming number of resources on the internet that are both informative and helpful regarding how to configure RouterOS. When I saw the RouterOS UI for the first time, I literally turned into a "teapot." Starting from the ground up, put in four days of labor, and everything turned out perfectly! Personally gained a great deal of knowledge! The fact that there are so many configuration options, in addition to RouterOS itself, piqued my interest. Anyone purchases will not be sorry! Naturally, if the individual wants to touch the information and research of RouterOS, they will need to do it themselves. The fact that the router requires a very sophisticated setup for the typical user cannot be considered a drawback of the device. After that, you will realize what a stunning replica you have been holding all along. The compatibility between my unlocked E3276 modem and the RB952Ui-5ac2nD is excellent. The reception of the 3G signal has been improved, and there are significantly less instances of failure and rallies. Absolutely do not regret the purchase in the least! Also, let's just say that "regular" routers have moved farther and further into the "background" for me))).

Pros
  • Superb router with a great deal of configurability and a broad range of options. Both the 2.4 GHz and the 5 GHz WiFi bands can be used concurrently. Compatibility for a wide variety of different kinds of 3G and 4G modems Small in size, but packing a powerful Atheros QCA9531 processor running at 650 MHz. RouterOS License L4, allowing for the connection of up to 200 users. A nominal fee to pay in exchange for the most extensive networking features. There are no antennae that stick out.
Cons
  • The On/Off button is something that could be created, but the designers have a better solution in mind.
