I was skeptical at first, I figured the ride quality would be sacrificed and I wasn't sure how well the material would hold up, but wow. I keep a heavy tool box in my bed and I've never noticed how much it's sagging my butt. When the Sumo springs were installed, the tail stayed about 2 inches above stock height and stayed there. Ride quality was a bit bumpy and harsh for the first 1000 miles and continued to smooth out over time. I also adjusted a rear anti-roll bar to a soft setting, this combination has revolutionized my Tacoma's comfort and handling around town and on the highway while making cornering with heavy buckets that much safer, it honestly feels like a luxury truck on. With a heavy load on the back, you don't even know what's behind it, instead of the usual suspension travel, there is a slight but firm deflection of the Sumo springs. I'm curious how long they will last, but I have a feeling they could become an integral part of the suspension in the future.
