Review on πŸš— Optimized Rhino Rack Wind Fairing, 38-Inch by Tyler Fountas

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Installed on 2019 F350 with non-original handlebars

Firstly, DO NOT BUY this if you don't want vibration noise! I have a full moon roof and the front handlebar sits in about 6-8 inches (and no, it doesn't matter where I move it). The howling of the wind when I opened it sounded like a train going through a truck. I bought it to solve. To be honest, it solved the wind problem. However, the vibration from the roof is terrible! I am an engineer by trade and very mechanical! Plastic lining. Mounted as instructed. Vibration on the way to work. Went in and installed window trim. Mounted anywhere on the floor. Felt pretty safe. Hence the vibrations. That's admittedly the result of my roofline, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. My next step was to attach the fairing to the brackets with nuts and bolts, which took quite a long journey before I could do it. When I got home, the entire front panel ripped off immediately. The vibration made me commit suicide. bottom line; Why should I pay $100 and then pay extra money to develop a product that should be developed by a manufacturer! This product works perfectly on 10% of all flat roof vehicles, if any. It CAN and SHOULD be made much better than what it is now! Why not? That's why, as consumers, we keep buying low-quality products! Stop buying this product! YOU ARE WARNING!
