I researched for a few hours and then decided to try this camera based on what I saw in videos and read in reviews. I have the SimpliSafe security system installed but they don't have battery powered outdoor cameras and I can't connect to a power source. So I had to use battery powered cameras, separate from the security system. The cameras arrived in secure packaging and I immediately thought the quality of the materials was excellent. The case is very solid and the mount is also of excellent quality. Note. As some reviewers point out, it's surprising that Chinese manufacturers didn't even bother to ask a fluent speaker to review their manuals. It's disrespectful and funny at the same time :) How hard would it be to pay someone a few bucks to proofread it? I would never release a product for the Chinese market and try to do an automatic google translation for the manual. Part of the language is a joke. But whatever, I see it all the time. Luckily, these cameras are very easy to connect to your WiFi and generally program. I didn't even read the instructions. I just installed the mobile app and went through it. Easy easy. Alerts and motion detection work great and you can customize them to suit your circumstances and even set individual cameras to react differently and want to be notified at different times. And the picture quality is excellent too. Finally, the battery life does not seem to be too high either. I've had them for a week now and they're still showing 100% despite all my testing and live viewing. Just follow the instructions and fully charge before installation. It took a good 12-14 hours to fully charge it. And tip only; Not mentioned anywhere in the instructions but the power indicator will change color when fully charged.
