I now own 3 ieGeek products and am a very satisfied customer. My first purchase was a doorbell and I was very happy with it, so I decided to try another wireless camera model that also worked perfectly, so I just bought this camera for outdoor use. I researched for a few hours and then decided to try this camera based on what I saw in videos and read in reviews. I have the SimpliSafe security system installed but they don't have battery powered outdoor cameras and I can't connect to a power source. Update. I bought a second camera after a trial run of the first one. The second camera was installed in less time than the first and it was very easy. So far the second camera is working great and has a good connection, fast live view times and good recording capabilities. The ability to delete entries from the application is a plus. Connection is spotty at best - only good potential for motion detection

I had high hopes for this motion detection camera with no cloud service, but with a lag in live preview and an unstable WiFi connection, this is it unacceptable ; will return. Good: Most third-party security cameras have so many false alarms that they become unusable. This one did a very good job of only providing human alert notifications without the need for a paid cloud service like other branded camera systems.
