At times we had about 40 devices connected to Wi-Fi. I set up the system as a mesh network before deploying the mesh nodes in the planned locations and then connecting them together with wired connections. After several days of relatively poor performance requiring a reboot and email exchanges with MeshForce, I was able to get to the point where the system appeared to be working fine. However, we soon found that the system couldn't easily switch devices between mesh nodes and Wi-Fi connection speeds were often quite slow as devices typically only connected to mesh nodes that were much farther away than the next Node. I've tried several times to improve performance, even factory reset the system and restarted the setup from scratch. Nothing seemed to improve and system performance was affecting my work and my kids' distance learning. I bought three (3) Google Nest WiFi routers last week and set them up as a mesh network. The difference in reliability and speed compared to our devices is clearly noticeable, so far there have been no performance problems. The system even reaches some remote locations where I originally had to set up the M3 to get a strong Wi-Fi signal. Conclusion: If you want a strong and reliable mesh network, you get what you pay for and I would not recommend the MeshForce system.
